EIC Scaling Club takes the stage at EIC Summit 2025

On 2 April, at the EIC Summit 2025 in Brussels, EIC Scaling Club representatives led a session, "How to make your board work for you?"

We had a fantastic discussion, moderated by the EIC Scaling Club lead, Teresa Cunha, and featuring expert insights from:

  • Mikko-Jussi Suonenlahti, Digital Security & Trust Group President and EIC Scaling Club mentor
  • Patrick Van Deven, CEO of our member company VaultSpeed (Digital Security & Trust)
  • Josemaria Siota, Executive Director of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center at IESE Business School

The panel highlighted the critical role of a strong and productive board in driving growth for European deep-tech companies, addressing the current reality where many lack non-executive directors or don't fully leverage their board's potential.
