Kraftblock: The modular solution unlocking industrial decarbonisation
This German deep tech scale-up develops high-temperature thermal energy storage systems for industrial decarbonisation with a flexible, modular platform.
This Utrecht-based medical device scale-up develops a minimally invasive approach to coronary artery bypass grafting – one of the most performed and risk-laden procedures in cardiac surgery.
At the Growth Forum in Paris, the session “The Corporate Leader Perspective” landed on a shared diagnosis: Europe’s deep tech pipeline is strong, but adoption still lags.
The challenge is not inventing breakthroughs. It is turning them into solutions that business units can integrate, procure and scale inside complex organisations with real constraints, timelines and risk profiles.

Four other panels of the Growth Forum explored several friction points – late-stage capital that doesn’t match ambition, procurement that’s hard to access, partnerships that stall in pilot mode, and fragmented rules that slow cross-border growth.
This recap pulls the threads together under one unifying theme: alignment over fragmentation. Read the full article and learn how scale-ups can connect the pieces for more efficient scaling.
