Tech Tour has announced the 2026 edition of the Tech Tour Growth50 (TTG50) Listing, highlighting Europe’s new generation of strategic tech champions and potential future European unicorns, selected by the continent’s leading growth investors.
Nine companies from the EIC Scaling Club have been selected for the TTG50 Listing, reinforcing the Club’s strong presence among Europe’s most advanced scale-ups. The Club companies featured this year are Aerones, Axelera AI, EnduroSat, Shippeo, cylib, Dronamics, KONUX, Multiverse Computing and CorPower Ocean.
Now in its twentieth year, the Tech Tour Growth50 Listing highlights Europe’s next generation of strategic technology leaders, as identified by more than 70 leading growth-stage investors. The 2026 cohort reflects a decisive shift towards deep tech, with companies translating scientific excellence into industrial-scale impact across digital technologies, sustainability, health, space, energy and advanced computing.
Deep tech is no longer a niche
The 2026 Growth50 companies have collectively raised €6.8 billion to date, with an average of €135.5 million per company. Notably, 80% of this capital has been secured over the past four years. Nearly half of the selected companies have appeared on previous Growth50 lists, underlining the increasing concentration of capital and momentum around proven European technology champions.
This year’s selection confirms that deep tech is no longer niche but central to Europe’s scale-up engine. Companies operating in AI infrastructure, semiconductors, photonics, quantum technologies, robotics, space systems and clean energy dominate the list. Across sectors, the focus is on building strategic, industrial-grade technologies that support Europe’s competitiveness, resilience and technological sovereignty.
Public and sovereign investors continue to play a pivotal role in Europe’s scale-up landscape. The European Innovation Council is the most represented public backer in the 2026 Growth50, alongside support from the European Investment Bank and national development agencies. This reflects Europe’s long-term commitment to scaling strategically important technologies with global relevance.
The three main Growth Award winners will be announced in Paris on 17 March 2026 during the Tech Tour Growth50 Europe Summit, held as part of European Deeptech Week, and one day before the Growth Forum (last EIC Scaling Club's on-site event). The event is supported by Tech Tour partners, including the EIC Scaling Club.
For the EIC Scaling Club, the strong representation in this year’s listing underscores the maturity, ambition and industrial relevance of its community — and its role in shaping Europe’s next generation of global technology leaders.
