During the Ignition Forum, we had the chance to speak to Marta Garcia Pedruelo, the CFO at Multiverse Computing, a fast-growing deep-tech scaleup founded in 2019. This company is a part of EIC Scaling Club’s 'Next-Gen Computing' cohort and is one of the few companies working with quantum computing in the EU.
Multiverse Computing’s product is a software platform that contains quantum and quantum-inspired algorithms, with applications in finance, energy, manufacturing, cybersecurity, and many more industries. The scaleup just finished its series A fundraising, and is planning to start raising series B funding in the near future.
Participation in the EIC Scaling Club presents many benefits for Multiverse Computing, including visibility, fundraising, and networking. Marta shared how they got selected for the Club and which of the many valuable opportunities the company is planning to use in their scaling process.
Marta also emphasized the importance of having face-to-face Club events for more efficient communication with other members and stakeholders.
This incredibly powerful technology venture began in a curious way – thanks to a WhatsApp group. Watch the full interview video below to find out how this happened. For more exciting success stories and useful content, check out the EIC Scaling Club's YouTube channel.
